Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts Management

The Advanced Diploma in Culinary Arts Management advances students essential skills of classical and international cuisine preparation, garde manager, butchery, patisserie and bakery, to develop the student’s professionalism in producing world class cuisine. Students will advance their skills in culinary arts, food and beverage operations and supervision, menu creation, health and nutrition, baking, pastry, kitchen layout and design, food preparation such as cooking and plating whole dishes and pastries to perfection.

Entry Requirements

Diploma Pathway/Transfer Student (1 year):

  • A minimum age of 18 at enrollment.
  • Completed full-time high school education and a Diploma with minimum 60 ECTS or equivalent.
  • OR Completed La Xenia’s Diploma in Culinary Arts Management.

Direct Advanced Diploma Pathway (2 years):

  • A minimum age of 18 at enrollment.
  • Completed full-time high school education.

     

English Requirements

  • All students without English as a first language must show competence in English at a level equal to IELTS 5.5 minimum.  Or prior study in English language.
  • La Xenia can provide a set of placement tests where necessary to assess a student’s English level.
  • Students who do not satisfy the English language requirement may choose to combine this programme with the English for Tourism & Hospitality qualification in order to help raise their fluency to the required level.
