As the cruise industry becomes more competitive, cruise employers are requiring job applicants to have related education. It’s not so important where you get an education as to actually having an education.
Although education alone is not enough to boost your CV, having relevant work experience is equally important. Unfortunately when starting out as a fresh graduate, it’s difficult to get hired especially in the Cruise Hospitality industry..
That’s why, at La Xenia, our programmes include an internship of 20-24 weeks where students gain practical experience. This practical experience is invaluable and it looks great on the student’s CV.
La Xenia is one of the first Swiss Hospitality Schools in Switzerland offering the Diploma in Cruise Hospitality Services programme.
Students must successfully complete: All 10 core courses plus a full-time internship.
