Diploma in Hospitality Practice

The Diploma in Hospitality Practice is a skills-based programme.

A diploma level programme designed to provide students with the essential skills for their first job in the hospitality & tourism sector.

The Hospitality Practice qualification can be studied as a diploma level qualification whereby learners are enrolled in all 8 units and allows learners to focus on a specific area of hospitality such as housekeeping or front office.

Entry Requirements

  • A minimum age of 16 at enrollment for European students and a minimum age of 17 at enrollment for International students.
  • All students without English as a first language must show competence in English at a level equal to IELTS 4.5 minimum.
  • La Xenia can provide a set of placement tests where necessary to assess a student’s English level.

Career Opportunities

The Diploma in Hospitality Practice will enable students to apply for jobs in hospitality and tourism organisations as reception desk professional, waiter/waitress, housekeeping, concierge, bartender and many more.
