The Diploma in Hospitality Practice is a skills-based programme designed to provide students with the essential practical capabilities needed for entry into the hospitality and tourism industry.
Students study eight core units and can develop practical competence across areas such as customer service, restaurant and bar service, concierge, housekeeping, reception and reservations.
The programme combines three months of academic and practical study with a nine-month internship period.

The programme is structured around a short, intensive academic and practical study period followed by an extended internship.
Entry Requirements
Who Can Apply?
- Minimum age of 16 at enrolment for European students.
- Minimum age of 17 at enrolment for international students.
- Applicants without English as a first language must demonstrate English competence equivalent to at least IELTS 4.5.
- La Xenia may provide placement tests where required to assess an applicant’s English level.
